Everyone has seen the headlines that the Oakland Raiders ‘might’ be making the move to good ol’ Las Vegas, Nevada, but haven’t really heard much else since then. So, what’s up?
Unfortunately, not much can happen until the Raiders actually have a stadium to move into, which is already under construction with the name “Las Vegas Stadium.” The current estimated time of completion is nearing around 3 years as of now in 2017.
But you wouldn’t be able to tell any of this by watching the NFL Draft this week, as Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval hosted their pick for the Raiders in front of the iconic ‘Welcome to Las Vegas’ sign.

So even though we’re still many years out from being able to attend a live professional football game in the Silver State, it’s nice to know the ball is still rolling, and most of the team is already acting like they’ve moved!
